Here's a quick little DIY to brighten your space for 2016! You will need: 2 A4 sheets of Colour 1 (we used Mint) 1 A4 sheet of Colour 2 (we used Melon) 1 A4 sheet of Colour 3 (we used Cream) Scissors Mini hole punch (or large needle) 13 mini paper fasteners (aka brads or split pins) Decorative tape (we used our Gold Glitter Tape) Step One Download the "Make Today Amazing" Banner PDF here, then print pages 1 and 2 on your first colour (Mint), page 3 on your second colour (Melon), and page 4 on your third colour (Cream). How to make an invitation with our laser-cut cards

So we made this cute little video to show you how easy-peasy it is to make your own invitations at home. For Lovers of Good Ol' Snail Mail

We love to see people getting creative and thinking outside the box and this little project is just that! How To Use Our DIY Pockets

Our handy DIY pockets are so easy to use, you're going to want to stick them onto everything! Here's a step-by-step guide on how to get started. You will need: Your chosen pocket 9mm Double-Sided Tape A bone scorer or squeegee A pair of scissors Your DIY card Some heavy books Step One Take your pocket and place it on the table so you are looking at the raised score lines (i.e. rather than the indented lines). Fold each of the tabs in towards the middle of the pocket and press firmly on the folds using your bone scorer or squeegee to give a nice crisp fold.   Your pocket should now look like this. DIY : Big Hearted Ideas

After a big morning packing orders in the studio, we decided to get our creative juices flowing and whip up a few projects using some Large Paper Hearts from our Paper Hearts range. There are so many ways you can use these hearts. They're not just limited to tags, although they are guaranteed to make any package look super cute. First up, confetti pockets! We used Large Kraft Paper Hearts and did some hand lettering with gold pen.  Then we sewed them together and filled with confetti that we made using a 1/2 inch hole punch and our papers in Melon, Mint and White. DIY : Sweet Floral Favours

We saw this lovely idea over at the Julep blog for a seating plan and thought we'd show you how you can re-create this look using our Alex Mae products. Super easy and super cute! We've simplified ours so you can use them as favours, double them up as place-cards and table arrangements, or use them for your seating plan by adding the table number to the tags. All you need is a collection of small glass jars (new or up-cycled), some of our new sparkly Glitter Tape, a little bit of twine, and any of the tags from our Gift Tags range.
