Closed during Commonwealth Games

The Commonwealth Games will be held in our home town, the warm and sunny Gold Coast, from 4th to 15th April 2018.  Unfortunately during this time we will be unable to process orders as usual.  With the Easter long weekend also leading into the Games, all orders placed from 29th March 2018 will be sent after the Commonwealth Games.  We apologise for any inconveniences caused.  Please get in touch if you have any questions, hello@alexmae.com.au

Hello 2016

Happy New Year folks! Apologies we have been a little tardy with our blog and social media posts. A lot goes on behind the scenes to make sure we get your orders out as quickly possible, and we're mighty proud that 99% of our orders are shipped within 1 business day.  We don't get as many opportunities as we'd like to jump on the blog or social media but rest assured we're still here! And we're looking forward to an awesome 2016!

StyleSesh Byron Bay with The Cake That Ate Paris

Excited to again be involved with HOORAY! magazine for their awesome StyleSesh workshops. First one for 2015 was Valentine's Day Baking with the amazing Bree from The Cake That Ate Paris. So being Valentine's themed we of course provided some of our sweet paper hearts for the goodie bags! Held at the Secret Garden, the afternoon was filled with prettiness and icing as students learnt how to decorate a cute box of Valentine's treats. Furniture and styling were provided by our good friends at Lovestruck Weddings and here's a few photos of the glorious day from Byron Loves Fawn. To see how it all came together on the day, click here to watch the beautiful video created by Lester and May, and you can...

On the day you'll hear from industry experts on everything from beauty to photography, plus you get to make a beautiful flower crown to take home. Why are we excited? We are laser-cutting our cute little NOTEme exercise books for the lucky attendees of this amazing event, and this is a sneak preview! PS. If you are thinking that logo looks pretty spesh, yeah I need some cool design stuff done, then pop over and see Tamara from...

StyleSesh Sydney with The Flower Era

To top off an amazing year of StyleSesh workshops, HOORAY! magazine teamed up with Amelia from The Flower Era for a lovely Christmas inspired workshop. Students learnt how to make their very own Christmas wreath from scratch (yes from scratch!) with fresh moss, crisp foliage and beautiful flowers. We supplied some of our laser-cut Christmas cards with Turquoise glitter for their goodie bags! A delicious spread was put on by Dan the Man (which we are so jealous of!) and awesome handmade furniture from Timbermill added to the natural, earthy ambience. Here's a few gorgeous photos of the magical night from Mark & Kara Photography.   If you like what you see, make sure you click here to watch the marvellous video created by...
